Lorena served as the director, producer, and editor for this documentary for nonprofit client "Shop With A Cop Silicon Valley". In order to tell the story of the Alejo family, she scouted locations, conducted pre-production calls with the family to prepare them for the interview, storyboarded, drafted interview questions in collaboration with the stakeholders, and created a shot list. Once on set, she used her bilingual skills to conduct the interview in English and Spanish ensuring the talent felt at ease speaking in their native language. The video was edited then color graded by Natalie Vitalie all in time for launch at the 16th annual Tacos and Tequila Fundraiser.
