From 2023 to 2025, Lorena Cortez served as both Program Director and Lead Graphic Designer for the San Jose Film Collective, a fiscally sponsored, volunteer-led organization dedicated to creating a welcoming space for filmmakers in San José to network and connect. She led the organization’s branding and social media presence, designing all assets, from flyers and posters to social graphics and pitch decks, while ensuring consistent visual identity across platforms. Under her creative direction, engagement and participation grew steadily, strengthening the Collective’s visibility and impact within the local film community.
